Estimated 118,000 deaths with 114,000 still missing in Banda Acheh

Although the water front is facing the North, the effect of tsunami is still devastating.

(15 km from BA)
Located on the West Coast recieved direct impact form the tsunami wave.

Meuloboh
(225 km from BA)
Still not accessible by road at end of February. Many smaller villages between BA and Meulaboh are completely destroyed
